ARB Forged Recovery Point Set - Suits Toyota Landcruiser 300 Series

Decent recovery points should be mandatory on all four wheel drives. In fact, there is a reason every 4WD club in Australia will specify that before even commencing driver training, the vehicle must have quality recovery points fitted.

From the factory, most vehicles have towing and tie down points fitted to the chassis, and a common misconception is that these are safe for recovery. The factory fitted tie down & towing points are for strapping down the vehicle on a ship or tow truck only, these are not to be used as recovery points, and have been known to shear off, with potentially fatal consequences.

ARB’s recovery point range seeks to address issues surrounding generic tow points and their unsuitability for a range of recovery situations. These issues include questionable and untested mounting locations, confusion regarding the selection of rated shackles and straps, and the inability of generic tow points to safely handle stresses generated by an angled pull during vehicle recovery.

ARB design all of their recovery points as a vehicle-specific kit, including all hardware. All kits are FEA tested and rated accordingly, ensuring that you and any spectators are safe during any recovery. Don't be fooled by cheap knock offs that are not rated!

• Developed to fit Toyota Landcruiser 300 Series with either ARB Frontal Protection or OE bumper assembly (minor bumper trim required).
• Rated in a direction of pull up to the maximum turn angle of the front wheels. 8T rating per recovery point 
• Long slot allows the recommended 4.75t bow shackle to be feed through and the 8000kg strap attached via the pin instead of the bow
• The Slot of the forged recovery point features a chamfered edge to work with soft shackles
• Fits with either ARB UVP (under development) or OE under panel
