Why do I need a Diff Drop Kit?

Adding a diff drop kit to a lifted IFS vehicle reduces the angle of the CV joints and helps to avoid splitting of the CV boots that would otherwise lead to failure of the CV joint.

This CalOffroad Diff Drop Kit suits Ford Ranger PX1, PX2 and PX3, Ford Everest UA1 & UA2 and Mazda BT50 Gen 2.

It lowers the front differential by approximately 34MM and moves it forward by approximately 20MM.

The kit also includes a Tail Shaft Spacer Kit to reduce any driveline vibration.

Please note it is recommended that the Diff Drop Kit be installed by a specialist 4WD mechanic as it is not a basic DIY install. A driver's side rear mount bracket needs to be removed as a small modification in the installation of this kit. The standard bash plate will not fit without modificatons that are not included with the kit. CalOffroad aftermarket bash plate will fit without modification.
