Jack's Pack - The Ultimate Victron 4WD Off-Grid Package

Want to never have to worry about power, and be the envy of your mates? This is the kit for you. Modelled after the setup in Jack's 300, this is excessive, overkill, and absolutely awesome. Look, if we're being honest, this would even be a crazy setup for a caravan, the world's your oyster

 

This pack includes all the components you need to completely transform your 12v setup and will allow hassle-free usage for years and years. All that is needed in addition to this kit is wiring and a powerpoint or two, and you'll be good to go. 

 

Featuring Bluetooth monitoring via the free VictronConnect app (Available for iOS and Android), you can easily monitor everything that is going on, from solar production to your DC-DC charger and even your battery details (State of charge, current usage and history/trends), you can do it all with this one simple app. 

 

But that's not all, we have included the Victron Cerbo GX and Touch 50 touch screen to monitor the entire system, and the Cerbo is next level. Cerbo tracks all of your usage and charging and reports it back to the free to use Victron VRM portal via the inbuilt WiFi transceiver. Ever been on the other side of the world and wondered what SOC % your battery was? Me neither, but now you can! 

 

The Touch 50 touch screen is waterproof and displays everything you need, as well as a heap of stuff you probably don't. Pair this system up with one or more of our Ruuvi Bluetooth temperature sensors, and you can track your fridge temp, ambient temperature or anything else, and via Cerbo, publish this to VRM (and again, check out your fridge temperature from the other side of the world, purely because you can).

 

We have included not 1, but 2 Pylontech 100ah Lithium iron-phosphate batteries which will see years and years of use, and can be discharged all the way down to 10% without damage or concern (that's right, 180ah of usable power!). These batteries are great, and we use them for a heap of different applications at APC. Weighing in at only 14kgs each, and with a lifespan of over 3000 cycles (you can discharge this to 10% every day for the next 8 years and it will still perform flawlessly), this is the perfect hub for your next lap around the world. 

 

To ensure your fridge doesn't run the battery down when you are parked up for a long time (haha, not likely with 200ah of Lithium, it'll run a fridge for a week), but just in case, have included a Victron Energy 305w Solar Panel, with a standalone MPPT solar charge controller. The solar panel has a 25 year warranty and can pump nearly 30 amps in to the batteries at full noise. 

 

Driving along, the Victron Orion DC-DC will pump in 30a of charge to your batteries. This DC-DC is smart alternator compatible and features engine start/stop detection to ensure zero damage to your alternator or start battery. 

 

The MPPT works independently to the DC-DC Charger, so you can receive the full 30a of DC-DC charging, as well as all the solar that is available.  

 

For your 240v needs, we have again gone overkill and included the Victron MultiPlus 1600va unit. This Inverter/Charger supplies 1600va of 240v power to your system, and will easily work with a 1000w Induction Cooktop (because let's be honest, butane cookers are for Delica's). This Inverter/Charger does not have any physical plugs, and instead, it can have a powerpoint (or multiple) wired to it in a convenient place. This way you can hide the inverter charger under your drawers, but have the powerpoint in a convenient location.

 

The Multiplus also has an inbuilt charger, which will provide 70a of charge to your batteries, as well as 1a to your start battery.  We recommend having this wired up with a simple 10a input plug behind the backseat, just like on the side of your caravan. This way, if it is parked up in the shed for a long time, or if it is at a caravan park, we can plug it in and forget about it. The Multi takes care of the rest. 

 

Rounding out the pack, we have included a couple of VE.Direct cables and a VE.Bus cable, as well as a Victron 1000a Busbar, the Lynx Distributor. This will make the installation for your auto elec an absolute breeze.
