Why do they electroplate their battery trays? Batteries, by nature, are extremely corrosive. Their high acid content means they sweat or give off fumes if put under load or are subjected to too much heat. The electroplated coating protects the metal in the battery tray from being corroded by the acid.

This tray is for vehicles fitted with Dual Air Conditioning. The charcoal cannister requires relocation to the opposite side and hoses lengthened. If vehicle is equipped with ABS, further modifications to the charcoal cannister mounting bracket will be required.
