Why do they electroplate their battery trays? Batteries, by nature, are extremely corrosive. Their high acid content means they sweat or give off fumes if put under load or are subjected to too much heat. The electroplated coating protects the metal in the battery tray from being corroded by the acid.

This tray is a difficult tray to fit. Modifications to the Air Condition pipes may be required therefor you will need a qualified professional trained in air conditioning systems to install the tray. Moving of the diesel filter and power steering reservoir by modifying original bracketry.
