Tiegear HD Soft Spring

The heavy-duty spring allows for flex in the tie down system, which ensures strong gusts of wind are absorbed and pegs remain securely fixed to the ground.

The spring has a carabiner at each end allowing for it to be wrapped around items such as; bull bars, bollards, trees etc.

It has also been designed to be able to wrap around the drum of a caravan awning providing a secure and safe connection point for the Guy Rope. The soft materials ensure there is no risk of scratching or damage to the awning.

The springs also come with a spring loop allowing it to be easily pegged to the ground.

IS THIS REPLACEMENT FOR A STEEL TRACE SPRING?

Absolutely! We were sick of the old, unsafe and single purpose trace spring, so we wanted to redesign it. Our Soft Spring still offers the give in your Guy Rope system allowing for those extra gusts of wind, but now you don?t have to worry about your kids running past and slicing their foot open on it when you?re out bush. We also designed it to add to the versatility of the tie down system. Use the Soft Spring around the drum of your caravan awning as an anchor point, wrap it around a bull bar, bollards etc or just simply peg it into the ground with the D-Ring loop

WHAT DOES THE SOFT SPRING DO?

The Soft Spring allows for absorbing strong gusts of wind while keeping tension, allowing for both flex and movement in your system. This takes the pressure off both your awning and pegs, making sure it stays secure without the potential of damage to your awning. It also adds versatility in the way you are able to secure your awning by wrapping the spring around an endless amount of objects.

WHAT'S THE BENEFIT FOR A CARAVAN AWNING?

This replaces the traditional caravan awning spring with an easier to use and safer mechanism. Alternatively, you can wrap the soft spring around the barrel of your awning as the connection point.
