The Jaylec Black Series Performance Alternator BKS-240KUN is a high output 12V, 240A alternator designed for vehicles needing more electrical capacity than standard OE units. It is aimed at installations that run high-demand accessories at idle while maintaining battery charge.

- Higher output at lower cut-in speeds compared with typical OE alternators.
- Intended to run high-demand components at idle such as dual thermos-fans, injection systems, air conditioning, electric steering, monitoring systems, upgraded lighting systems and winches while maintaining battery levels.
- Efficient cooling fans and high-quality bearings to improve reliability and durability.
- All Black Series alternators are amperage rated hot and cold. Example: 13.5V @ 125A Cold (rectifier at 40ºC) and 13.5V @ 110A Hot (rectifier at 96ºC for ½ hour).
- Warning: this high output alternator requires upgraded cabling to suit. Consult your auto electrician for the required cable upgrade and do not install without upgrading cabling.
