Jaylec Black Series Performance Alternator 12V 240A - Isuzu D-Max 2012-07/2020

The Jaylec Black Series Performance Alternator is a high-output replacement alternator designed for performance and heavy electrical loads. It delivers 240A at 12V and is built for applications that require higher amperage at lower cut-in speeds.

Features:

• Higher output (amperage) at lower cut-in speeds compared with many OE alternators
• Intended to run high-demand components at idle such as dual thermos-fans, injection systems, air conditioning, electric steering, monitoring systems, upgraded lighting systems and winches while maintaining battery levels
• Efficient cooling fans and high-quality bearings for reliable operation
• All Black Series alternators have been amperage rated Hot and Cold
• 13.5V @ 125A Cold - Cold is the alternator rectifier at 40ºc (maximum output)
• 13.5V @ 110A Hot - Hot is the alternator rectifier running at 96ºc for ½ hour (normal operating condition)
• Warning: This high output alternator requires upgraded cabling to suit; consult your auto electrician before installation

Notes Before Ordering:

• There are a few things you will need to Check on your own Vehicle BEFORE placing an order.

1:

• There are a couple of different brand Alternators used in these models, which does not matter, but what does matter is there are 2 different Regulators used in D-Max & MU-X Alternators. Either a LIN Type Regulator or an L,M Type regulator.
• We have provided an image that shows the LIN being identified on the Alternator & although your Alternator may not be identical to this one in the image, it will still have either LIN or L,M on the sticker on the Alternator.
• This Kit ONLY Suits Alternators that have the LIN Type Regulator
• It Does NOT Suit Vehicles that have the L,M Type of Regulator

2:

• There are 2 types of Lower Mounting Brackets on these Alternators.
• Either a 2 Piece Mount End Mount or a Centre Mount as shown in images
• Image Number 1: The 2 Piece Mount is at Either End of the Alternator
• Image Number 2: The Centre Mount is in the Middle of the Alternator
• This Kit ONLY fits Vehicles with a Centre Mount Lower Mounting Bracket.
• It does NOT Suit Vehicles with the Mounts at Either End of the Alternator

3:

• So to place an order, you must 1st have Confirmed that you have a Centre Mount Alternator with an LIN type regulator.
• If Not, this kit will Not suit and we do Not have a Kit for the other Variants.

4:

• We have no upgrade options available for vehicles with the 2 piece mounts at either end of the alternator.

5:

• To upgrade the alternator on these models, you will need to upgrade the Alternator & Earth wiring harness along with the main engine fuse from the battery to accomodate the larger Alternator.
• This will require a custom made harness.
