The Jaylec Black Series Performance Alternator is a high-output replacement alternator designed for performance and heavy electrical loads. It delivers 240A at 12V and is built for applications that require higher amperage at lower cut-in speeds.
Features:
- Higher output (amperage) at lower cut-in speeds compared with many OE alternators
- Intended to run high-demand components at idle such as dual thermos-fans, injection systems, air conditioning, electric steering, monitoring systems, upgraded lighting systems and winches while maintaining battery levels
- Efficient cooling fans and high-quality bearings for reliable operation
- All Black Series alternators have been amperage rated Hot and Cold
- 13.5V @ 125A Cold - Cold is the alternator rectifier at 40ºc (maximum output)
- 13.5V @ 110A Hot - Hot is the alternator rectifier running at 96ºc for ½ hour (normal operating condition)
- Warning: This high output alternator requires upgraded cabling to suit; consult your auto electrician before installation
