Why do they electroplate their battery trays? Batteries, by nature, are extremely corrosive.
Their high acid content means they sweat or give off fumes if put under load or are subjected to too much heat.
The electroplated coating protects the metal in the battery tray from being corroded by the acid.
All Piranha Battery Trays feature a 2 year, unlimited km warranty.
